Meet David

The most impactful motto that one can live life by is “Strive For Honor.” My name is David Freimarck and this motto isn’t just preached by my alma mater, but is an integral part of who I am.  As a native Texan, my parents doggedly instilled the values of hard work and right vs. wrong from a young age. I have been blessed to have spent much of my life in the Cibolo area. In 2008 I graduated from Samuel Clemens High School and proceeded to attend Texas Tech University. In 2011, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. Throughout my formative and adult years, I routinely sought out ways to serve my community and ultimately ended up falling into the government procurement career field.  In 2012, I took my talents to the Washington D.C. area and accepted a job as a Associate Contracts Administrator. In this role, I helped administer and manage federal contracts. Shortly after accepting this role, the most incredible thing happened, I met my wife, Anastasia (Ana) and we tied the knot just a couple of years later. My time on the East Coast was valuable, but as the old saying goes “you can take the boy out of Texas, but you can’t take the Texas out of the boy” so in 2016-2017 my wife and I decided it was time to return to my roots. I jokingly tell folks that I only returned to Texas due to a severe shortage of breakfast tacos on the East Coast, but in all seriousness, the good people of Cibolo are some of the best I have ever known and we wanted to start and raise a family here. My wife, not originally from Texas, after ten years of marriage, is now finally understanding why we Texans love our tacos and teas! In just a few years, my wife and I put down roots, bought our first and second homes, re-engaged with our local community, welcomed our beautiful daughter, Annie, and started a pet grooming business in downtown Cibolo. Our shop has become a beacon of success in our community and is growing every day! I love catering to our local communities, providing the opportunity to give jobs to people who want to work with animals, training people on a technical skill such as pet grooming and becoming more involved with our town. My ability to understand the needs of Cibolo puts me in an ideal position to represent the citizens of Cibolo on City Council. As a native to the area, a small business owner, a person heavily involved in government procurements, a husband, a father, and perhaps most importantly, a regular guy I know I can effectively advocate for the needs of Cibolo residents. As your next Councilman I will stay true to conservative values and to the principle of “Strive For Honor.”
